The room with the lions and tile floor alone is worth the visit! We also enjoyed the elaborate ceilings and musical instruments display.

beautifully constructed....just a treasure island...
Great building with very ancient rooms etc.A must see in Copenhagen!
Can you keep a secret? I actually enjoyed this royal home more than the interior of the Palace of Versailles. It had such a wonderful homey feel about it, but then you're surrounded by gorgeous furnishings and all the trappings of royalty. Some of my favorite rooms were the mirror room (even the floor is a mirror!), the tiled bathroom, and of course the long hall with its rooms of glassware and porcelain ware. Oh yeah, and the little stash of crown jewels in the treasury basement. Oh. My. Gosh. My colleagues and I were stunned by the intricacy and style of the collection. We actually were very nicely "kicked out" of the castle because we lingered a bit past closing time, so I will definitely be coming back again!
This royal palace is absolutely interesting and fantastic. It contains the royal jewels and the ancient rooms of kings and princes are still preserved in the exposition. It is full of elephants after the elephant is the symbol of the family itself. In every picture royal family members wear a necklace with an elephant. We visited also the Rooms of the Queen. We had to keep silent as this place is opened to theublic but is instead where the Parliament works.
