A must-see stop on a tour of New Zealand's South Island. Take the cable car to the top and have a panoramic view of Queenstown. The weather is excellent and the scenery is excellent.
The must-visit attractions in Queenstown are crowded with people before. This year's epidemic has affected the number of tourists and the scenery is better.
Ride the Sky Gondola + Bob Peak, which is the first choice for many tourism projects in Queenstown. Bob Peak is on the north side of Queenstown, and the Sky Cable Car is on the south slope of Bob Peak. The lower station of the cable car is located at an altitude of 340 meters and is located on the north side of the commercial district in downtown Queenstown; the upper station is located at an altitude of 790 meters and is located in an open area on the southern slope near the top of the mountain: the track elevation angle is 37.1º, which is the steepest cable car track in the southern hemisphere. Walk north from Liss Street for 10 minutes, climb the 30-meter-high white Bob steps, and arrive at the cable car station. Sit in a spacious and bright car with 4 seats. With the change of height and angle of view, the landscape drifts away and becomes more and more beautiful. After 8 minutes of comfortable and stable operation, we reach the upper station of the cable car. The upper station of the cable car is connected to the sky cable car restaurant. On the outer edge of the restaurant on the second floor, an L-shaped sightseeing corridor and several protruding viewing platforms are set up. Standing on the viewing gallery and viewing platform, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Lake Wakatipu and Queenstown at 270º without dead ends. Looking to the south, it is beautiful from far to near. In the distance ~ the undulating peaks of the Excellence Mountains are majestic and majestic. Nearby ~ Queenstown’s roads criss-cross, with rows of roofs lined up. Near and far junction ~ Two peninsulas (Queenstown Golf Course and Queenstown Gardens) and two lake bays (Queenstown Bay and Frankton Bay) on Lake Wakatipu are clearly visible. The sparkling lake, the green peninsula, and the winding and elegant shoreline constitute the most beautiful pictures of Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu. The photos taken are representative works of the beauty of New Zealand.
The experience is very good, the scenery is good, staying at the foot of the mountain and watching the sky gondola is like going straight up. Needless to say, the scenery on the mountain, you must punch in Queenstown! But the glass of the cable car is not very clean, you need to put the lens outside the cable car to take pictures😂
Queenstown is the most famous place. On the top of the hill, you can overlook the entire Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu. The observation deck up by the cable car is very cool. There is also a buffet on it. There are cable cars and buffet packages, although things are not very good. Eat, but at least there are many types, and it is really comfortable to enjoy the lake and mountains of Queenstown by the window and floor-to-ceiling windows.
Queenstown, New Zealand, sits on the shores of the South Island’s Lake Wakatipu, set against the dramatic Southern Alps.Renowned for adventure sports, it’s also a base for exploring the region’s vineyards and historic mining towns. There's bungee jumping off Kawarau Gorge Suspension Bridge and much more.
Very unique view on the top of the mountain. We were actually late for the reservation, the restaurant helped us to postpon our booking from 5:30pm to 8:00pm. We were very grateful for the assistance they offered, everything was great, great view, great foods and great people!
Yesterday I tried to synthesize the movie before using star track software. At first, it was 300+, spanning from evening to night, no, it was all robbed by the day. Then it was artificially divided into two synthesises. The location of the window of the Peak Restaurant is very tight, you need to make an appointment in advance, it is a buffet. There is a scooter on the mountain that can go all the way down the mountain, highly recommended.
The view at the bottom of the mountain is simply beautiful, lingering.
