[Suopo Diaolou] is located on both banks of the Jinchuan River on the outskirts of Danba County, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province. "Suopo" means "Mongols" in Tibetan. It is said that a large number of Mongolians used to graze here in ancient times, hence the name. Suopo is the place with the highest concentration of ancient castles in Danba, and even in the world. There are as many as 84, including the only pentagonal castle in the world. Its value is self-evident. The towers of Danba are divided into four corners, five corners, six corners, and eight corners. The height gradually develops from 10 meters and 20 meters to 30 meters and 35 meters. Diaolou has many functions. It is built on the main roads of the village. The main traffic passes, checkpoints and other places are called "military defense towers"; those built for chieftains are called "Guanzhai towers"; the village center is an octagonal blockhouse used to suppress demons Called "Feng Shui Diao", here, there are also police Diao, Jie Diao, Fang Zhong Diao and so on. According to Tibetan scriptures, there are only three 13-corner towers in the Jiarong Tibetan area of hundreds of kilometers, and there are two in Danba. They are still standing between the Tibetan towers. They are majestic and solid as a rock. The baptism of thousands of years of wind and rain is still the same. The main building materials of the towers are rocks, mud, hemp, wood, etc. Hemp tendon is made of kenaf stalk or highland barley stalk and wheat straw. The hemp stalk is chopped into inch sections, and the pile is turned into hemp tendon. It is very sticky in mud. Diaolou is composed of large and small stones from top to bottom, left and right, staggered and repaired, with sharp edges and corners, and the surface is smooth, like a knife, chopping, and axe. For thousands of years, the ancient castles have withstood the erosion of war, wind and rain, and the test of earthquakes, but they stand tall. Some have been turned to rely on for a long time, and some have been bent into bows and become wonders on their own. Their architectural art is superb and exquisite. . Every corner, every stone, every shovel of mud of the ancient blockade was cast by the blood and sweat of Tibetan ancestors, and it also wrote a glorious page in the history of Tibetan architecture.

I came here for the first time in 11 years, when it was chartered from Danba to visit the Diaolou. I came here for the second time in September this year and it was pure passing. I remember that there was a big viewing platform in the past. It is estimated that the road has been demolished recently. There are many Damba Diaolou, and the Diaolou here is the most representative. First, it's more dense, and second, it's convenient to visit. The towers must be walked into the village to experience their majesty. This time we only had a quick glance when we passed by on the other side of the river, hoping that we could walk into this mysterious village again next time we passed by.
(1) If you have enough time to visit the Buddhist academy, you can go to Dongga Temple. 5 to 6 kilometers away from Seda County, the temple is not big, but it is quite distinctive. The grassland in front of the temple is very beautiful. I went too early, the temple did not open, and you can finish shopping in half an hour. (2) Under a huge pattern formed by prayer flags of different colors, yellow courtyard walls, golden roofs and red temples, Dongga Temple in the early morning is quiet, facing the vast grassland, ready to welcome a new day The sun, accompanied by the towering snow-capped mountains, is majestic and majestic, and the atmosphere is solemn and solemn. Monks chanting and praying in front of the window, flying prayer flags, fluttering snow, ever-bright butter lamps, and unintelligible scriptures, unintelligible Buddha cards. There is devotion here, faith here, here is the peach blossom source of the soul, you can throw away the troubles of the world in the sound of chanting, go around the temple, circle after circle, walking in the time. (3) From the towering mountain peaks to the galloping river valleys, there are beautiful Tibetan villages dotted around, some on cliffs and some on terraces. Mainly white and gray, with red and black decorations, surrounded by emerald green trees, the roof is full of smoke, valleys full of spirit, clear streams, and snowy peaks are mixed together. Looking at it, the mountain is hidden. , Simple and exquisite, snow-capped mountains, rivers, Tibetan villages, blue sky and white clouds, erratic masses of white mist combine to make "China's most beautiful village", Danba, a paradise hidden in the mountains and valleys, a painting in county seat.
Diaolou faces the big river and is built on the hillside with a relative drop of nearly one thousand meters. They are scattered or densely populated. The cultivated farmland around is arranged in a patchwork pattern in front of and behind the house. The Jiarong Tibetans mainly live here, and the houses are basically stone houses.
In Danba, the small county town with only one road is built on the side of the mountain. The concrete road is narrow and short. Looking down from the roadside, you can see the turbulent river. The opposite is the sharp dark rock wall of the big mountain. I don't know why the sunshine all the way to the county seat is overcast. Is the sun blocked by the mountains? The sky is always dark in memory.
