Located in Dazhu County, Qinghe Ancient Town is the hometown of Fan Shaozeng, the patriotic general who was a hero in the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. Within the ancient town, there is an especially old street that mixes Chinese and western styles. Called Harbin Street, it was first built during the Ming Era. Along the street, there are many Grecian-style columns. The columns are carved with human figures, animals, flowers and geometric patterns. There are large gates at the north and south ends of the street with literary inscriptions by Scholar Guo, which are, respectively, “Clear Town" and "River to the Li." Running from north to south, the street ends at two bridges crossing the Dongliu River. The northeastern bridge is called the Five Arched Bridge, while the southern bridge is called the Stepping Water Bridge.
