Street shot of Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. Travel with a group tour in June 2019. When we arrived in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, the weather was fine. Still the sky under the blue sky and white clouds. People in the city are busy with their lives. I can see that I have not been surprised by a large number of tourists! It is estimated that they have long been offended by tourists, it's just tourists with different skin colors...Living a slow life leisurely...
This small town is quite amazing, a former Italian town far away from Venice. Until World War II, this place was under the jurisdiction of Italy. After the defeat of World War II, it belonged to Yugoslavia. Afterwards, the independence of Croatia belonged to Croatia. But the official languages here are Croatian and Italian. The architectural culture here is also more inclined to Italy. Rovinj’s town center is on the westernmost peninsula, and it should be the best sunset viewing spot. It’s a pity that the clouds have thickened when the sun is set during a whole day of good weather, instead of seeing the sunset. The Church of St. Euphemia on the top of the hill is known as Rovinj’s star attraction. This Baroque building, built in 1736, bears witness to the prosperity and glory of Rovinj. The church has a 60-meter-high bell tower, which is modeled after the bell tower of the Basilica of San Marco in Venice. Row upon row of cafes and bars on the cliffs of the old city, behind are rainbow-like Italian houses, and in front of them is the blue Adriatic Sea. Sitting here for a leisurely drink is also a very wonderful experience. There are countless paths in the ancient city, and there are completely different fears of getting lost. There is only one end point, Euphemia Church, which basically converges to the square. In fact, in ancient times, there were 7 gates and walls surrounding it. But with the passage of time, only 3 gates remain, and the most famous one is the balbi gate, which is a large square.
A beautiful destination, with great bars, restaurants and a very relaxed vibe. the views at aunset are anazing.
