What people are saying:

This Spanish Viceroy’s Palace is actually the residence of the former Spanish Viceroy, built approximately 3 centuries ago. It has been restored for a while, but when you visit this house under the self-guided tour, you will easily go back to history and have a good understanding of the situation over the centuries. It is located in downtown San Antonio. Those who are interested in history strongly recommend visiting this house. The tour price is nominal and it is worth it.

    Good!

Only do if you have the time. It is only $5 and took under 30 minutes. Easy to walk through and the terrace is calming.

    We really enjoyed it!

Low key, small 'palace' (really a nice house). Lovely staff and grounds. If you like seeing 'this is how they lived' homes, you'll like it.

    Short tour

We paid the nominal amount to enter the palace. It was interesting and didn’t take long to walk through. The price was low enough that it felt more like a donation than admission.

    Good history lesson

This is not a palace but a very interesting old Spanish building. Nicely restored. Only cost $5 for the visit. Good info.
