Delft is a small town with a long history. It is closely related to the Dutch Royal family. It also has institutions of higher learning and research institutes, so it is also known as the city of knowledge. Delft is famous for its blue pottery, which is a national treasure, while the inner city is full of waterways and bridges, and the old buildings are very similar to the city center of Amsterdam, so it is also called the epitome of Amsterdam.
The golden statue on the outer wall is very beautiful. In front of the building is the Grand Square. You can browse it by the way.
The shape is very good, but usually the interior is not open, only the annual Openmonument Festival opens, September 12-13, 2015, I had the privilege to go to see, rare opportunities. There are two floors, the first floor is mainly the historical display of that year, the second floor has a modern venue, it seems that it is still in use, and there are Dutch introductory films broadcast. Openmonument is really a very busy festival. There are so many tourists that it is estimated that many of them are local people.
It's an exquisite Renaissance-style building. The red windows are striking and beautiful.
This is also the place where local couples register to get married. In front of the city hall is the square.
