Best Time To Visit
The weather from February to May is warm and comfortable and is the best time to visit Baton Rouge. The Mardi Gras festival in February brings much merriment to the streets, enticing the crowds with delicacies and musical performances. The climate turns hot and humid from June to October with the occasional rainfall. August and September is the Hurricane alert period, and you have to literally do a rain check before going outdoors. The winter in Baton Rouge is from November to January is not as cold as in the northern states of US and coming here during this period could help to avoid the crowds.
