Some cities blast you away, others slowly win you over. Seville disarms and seduces you. Its historic centre, lorded over by a colossal Gothic cathedral, is an intoxicating mix of resplendent Mudéjar palaces, baroque churches and winding medieval lanes. Flamenco clubs keep the intimacy and intensity of this centuries-old tradition alive whilst aristocratic mansions recall the city’s past as a showcase Moorish capital and, later, a 16th-century metropolis rich on the back of New World trade.
But while history reverberates all around, Seville is as much about the here and now as the past. It’s about eating tapas in a crowded bar or seeing out the end of the day over a drink on a buzzing plaza. The sevillanos have long since mastered the art of celebrating and the city’s great annual festivals, notably the Semana Santa and Feria de Abril, are among Spain’s most heartfelt.

There are plenty of opportunities for shopping within the airport. You can buy everything from food and drink to jewellery and music. One of the best places to view a detailed shopping guide is on the official airport website.
I enjoyed shopping around the airport while waiting for my flight. It's never been boring as I enjoyed the place a lot. Bought a lot chocolates for my family. It's more or less same price from other duty free that I have visited.
When you get hungry, that's easy. You can still buy food inside the airport - very convenient!
There are 4 terminals; T1, T2 and T3 and T4. On the whole, international flights depart from T1. Domestic flights from T2; and T3 operates regional flights. Although there are some exceptions.
I had fun roaming around the airport. I love the architecture. I was amazed by every single design of this airport.
Getting There - There are cheap flights from everywhere in Europe to Madrid. You can also rent a car if you are in Portugal or France and drive until there.
Attractions - The main attractions are: the Chueca neighborhood, The “Palacio Real de Madrid (where the kings used to live) and “Plaza Mayor” that is a very famous square fool of bars and restaurants.
Hotels - Four Seasons Madrid is a very good option but the prices are expansive. If you are looking for a budget options: Axel hotel has a rooftop pool and bar.
Food & Restaurants - “Angelina” is definitely the best restaurant in Madrid. I love their tartar.
Shopping - “El Corte Inglês” is the place to shop. It’s a Spanish shopping center with very good prices.
This is a MUST in Madrid and people doesn’t know!!! 😱
While you are in Madrid, there is a very creative bar named “Inclan Brutal Bar” where they serve drinks in different kind of cups. The food comes in different animals plates and it’s delicious.
The price is reasonable and it worth the visit!

The capital of germany, pulsating city of Madrid is one of the eminent European cities that is famous for it is over a few attractions. The city nestled in the middle of the Iberian Peninsula is thronged by people not for its nerve-wrecking night life but also for the succulent cuisine, mind boggling architecture at museums, monuments & gardens & jubilant festivals.
Madrid is an old city. Its origins can be traced back to as 1085 when King Alfonso VI of Castle reigned here. This street is deserted during the day, but comes alive at night. It's a classic shopping street with separate big name stores and smaller stores within mini shopping malls. Apart from that many Africans sell their fake purses and jewelry.
Add to that many dining and entertainment options.
When you go down the escalator, on the right side, the is an electronics shop which mainly has phone cases in the window. I saw a purple iPhone case and asked if it came in the plus size. The owner invited us into the shop and asked us to wait while he got it. He went an identical shop across from the shop we were in (I assume his other shop) and get more cases. When he came back, he bought other colours in the plus size but I was interested in the purple case. He went again but brought it back very quickly. It was €49.95 but the quality was poor (the Apple logo was quite blurry). I felt it was quite expensive for what I believe was a fake case so I said no thank you. He kept dropping the price (down to €20 in the end) but at this point he was pushing so hard to sell it to me, I was completely put off. After repeatedly saying no thank you, I left the shop. He followed me out and said that I was wasting his time and playing a game. I really wasn’t. I was enquiring and if I was happy with the option provided, I would have bought it. He was so unnecessarily aggressive and rude. He’s the type of person who gives sales people a bad reputation. Please take caution before visiting!
