yangtingkunThe ferry terminal of Dienstein, where cruise ships in the Wachau Valley stop here. This station is only about 20 kilometers away from the terminal Krems. I personally think that Dienstein possesses the ruins of Dienstein Abbey and Lionheart Castle. Since Krems is more worth a visit, consider disembarking here. There is a bus WL1 from outside the town to return to Melk or to Krems
yangtingkunThe small town of Dienstein is basically a main street with some small shops on both sides. On this road, there is a clear sign pointing to the remains of the Lionheart. Follow the trail and walk about half an hour to reach the ruins on the top of the mountain. Here you can overlook the Wachau Valley and the town of Dienstein.
