Canterbury Cathedral

Make sure you have 1-2 hrs when exploring Canterbury Cathedral. The cathedral is so huge and has lot of things to offer to its visitors. there is a museum and several chapels inside the cathedral

Leeds Castle

In the quiet pastoral area of Kent, England, a fairytale castle has been standing for 900 years - here is the 'world's loveliest castle' Leeds Castle (Leeds Castle). It was the private residence of six medieval queens, transformed into a royal palace by Henry VIII, and now becomes a romantic secret of history and nature in the name of the 'Ladies' Castle. Cross the winding moat and touch the ancient stone walls of the Norman era. Every masonry hides the story: from the beacon of William the Conqueror to the magnificent palaces of the Tudors, every expansion of the castle is engraved with the imprint of power and love. Behold, under the gothic window, did the young Henry VIII whisper with Queen Catherine on this railing? Stepping inside the castle, time seems to be flowing back. The most amazing of the glamorous oak-carved dome, the shining Venetian glass chandelier, and the tapestries of Elizabeth I are the Gloriana Corridor, where 2,000 handmade gold roses bloom on the ceiling, paying tribute to the golden age of the Virgin Queen.

Westgate Gardens

Visitors commonly mention its peaceful atmosphere, making it a lovely spot for a stroll or a picnic. The gardens run along the River Stour, providing picturesque water views, especially with the weeping willows and vibrant flower beds. The area is well-maintained, and it's a favorite for both locals and tourists who appreciate nature.

White Cliffs of Dover

It was a lovely trip. There is a good walk to the end of the cliff if you are coming by train. At places, the walk is naturally steep because it's a hill, so I won't prefer going on the hottest days. The best time I would say would be March-April or August.

Westminster Abbey

Westminster Abbey is a world-famous Gothic building, both with a magnificent exterior and exquisite interior sculptures that are breathtaking. The church is a frequent visitor to royal coronations, weddings, state funerals, and the tombstones and monuments of great figures such as Newton and Darwin are also here, and the cultural atmosphere is bursting!

The British Museum

Walking among the Egyptian mummies, I bump into the glass reflection of Rosetta stone. Patnon sculptures under the cold stone folds, there are always tourists who look up and solidify into silhouettes. The cabinets were crowded than the exhibits, and in the celadon cracks in the East Asia hall, I caught a glimpse of my reflection like those wandering cultural relics, I didn't know the return date.

Buckingham Palace

The Buckingham Palace Changing of the Guard ceremony is a symbolic royal cultural event in London. You should occupy a favorable position in advance. At the appointed time, the guards, wearing red uniforms and bearskin hats, enter the venue to the sound of the military band "God Save the King". The old and new guards take over their posts. The scene is very shocking. A large number of tourists gather outside the iron gate, vying to witness the changing of the guard ceremony of the royal guard.
