Tokko no Yu is perhaps one of the oldest hot springs in Japan. It's history and legend spans for hundreds of centuries ago and it is amazing how the locals of Shuzenji were able to preserve this historical area. It is located in the heart of Shuzenji Onsen. For now, it is not open for the public to use, therefore, you can only visit it and not touch it.

From this cape, you can watch the strong waves crash into Kuroshima. The waves split into two and you can see the rare sight of two waves both pulling and crashing into the land at the same time. These waves are called gasshounami ("gasshou" meaning to put your hands together in prayer, "nami" meaning wave") or fuufunami ("fuufu" meaning married couple), and it's a wonderful sight that makes the entire cape seem romantic as you watch the two waves meet. To me this place is definitely nice. This place is a bit of a walk good for those who love hiking. You go downhill and then uphill. A bit touristy as compared to Koganezaki. Worth to visit.
