RhiiThis has to be my favorite place in Nanjing. Its truly worth visiting, the location is central and you could easily spend a good proportion of your day here. The grounds are well kept and provides a great opportunity to take selfies. would throughly recommend visiting
SarahI went on a Tuesday morning before 8.30am in term time so it was quiet, serene and not crowded. it got busier as the day progressed and tour buses arrived but nothing like holiday time in China. the all access ticket was 210 you can scan the code to get a ticket if the office isn’t open when you arrive. it includes a time for the show at the palace. I also paid the 40rmb for the hop in and off bus because the area is large and it was a boiling hot day so it was convenient and made the day more relaxing and pleasant. you can walk if you don’t fancy the bus the paths are beautiful and there are many shaded areas. there are many things to see; a Buddhism cultural museum; fantastic views and numerous places for food and drink. if you see the morning shows you’ll be pleased past various restaurants which are really expensive (500rmb a set meal). I’d skip those and head for some snacks in the downstairs lobby you’ll walk through before you can exit (includes drinks fruit ice cream etc) and wait till you get to the exit of the entire place as you’ll be forced through commercial city (like IKEA) until you can exit - but this place has many small food stalls that are cheap and cheerful with seating. I had special fried rice and passion fruit juice for 23rmb. you can easily spend a morning or an afternoon here. oh and one final thing - all the toilets were spotless and well stocked !
This is the place where the trendy, young people go. A street behind the presidential palace. I took line 3, Fuqiao station exit 3, and walked for about 5 minutes. It's the main bar district in Nanjing. Since 1912 block opened in 2004, it has been a very popular street. The ambiance was great. Too many western restaurants to choose, various famous cafés and bars. The place is very lively at night. Most of the bars are very similar and slightly overpriced. As they said it's also home to a Master Gao bar, Nanjing's leading craft beer brewery. So if you love drinking beers, it's a must visit in Nanjing.
This beautiful lake is located near to Jinniuhu station S8 Line( the last station) for just about 5-8 minutes from the station to the lake on foot. Jinniu lake was built in 1958. It was Jinniushan reservoir, and is the largest artificial lake in Nanjing. The place is clean and you will absolutely enjoy the fresh air. There are several animals you can feed inside. You can choose to walk around the mountain or ride some bikes. This place won't waste your time I bet.
👣Fee - there is an entrance fee of 39 yuan for adults and 20 yuan for children. And is free after 5:30 PM.
👣Time - the lake is open daily from 8:30 to 5:30
👣Restaurants - there are several shops and restautants nearby the lake.
I recommend 3 hour visit duration of this place.
Purity is an essential focus of the salt production process and a driving concept for the spatial design. The plan is conceived as a regular array of salt crystals. A series of offset cubic protrusions accommodates each of the key functions. While the main building geometries are rectilinear, entrances and key elevations are characterized by contrasting fluid curvatures to create welcoming gestures to users. The interior is crisp and restrained - white walls, linear strip lighting and light-colored tiles define the spaces. In key rooms, a warmer atmosphere is conjured by combining wood and wood-grained exposed concrete. Full height low-emissivity glazing provides ample daylighting and pleasant views of the Jiangsu countryside from the workspaces.
Here I go for another business trip, had a great time in another amazing hotel. W hotel was always on my radar, that whenever I get a chance I just want to take it. We checked-in on a relaxed Sunday evening 🌆, expecting to see the sunset through crystal 🔮 clear glass walls. Although it was cloudy, the view from the 24th floor was truly mind-blowing and making us to stay there even more. Definitely an wholesome experience, and worth your money 💰Also they have a well maintained gym with all the necessary equipments and, most importantly cleanly disinfected. #suzhoutravel #whotel #staycation
This 1912 is located at Jiangning District in Nanjing. There is an easy way to visit this place. You can take subway line 1 and get of at Baijiahu Station and take exit 1. walk few metres forward and you can see 1912 at the back of Golden Eagle Department store. There are several reataurants to dine in. this place is usually crowded in the evening. During the weekends, people visit this place to enjoy the play place for children. You can enjoy your early morning walk around this place as well.
There are Lanzhou hand-pulled noodle restaurants a over China. But it's hard to find authentic ones like the ones in Lanzhou itself.
This restaurant is very authentic, you can choose the style of the noodles and they have Lanzhou side dishes too. So delicious!
Name and address: 东方宫中国兰州牛肉拉面(南京总店), 中山东路300号长发中心1楼 (Close to DaXingGong station on line 2)
Enjoy! 🍜 #foodieheaven
Looking for a hotel where you can bring you dog? 🐒I love to come to Jinxi which is just about 50min out of Shanghai and still within Shanghai city borders. This cute and boutique like homestay has a very family friend environment with nice restaurants (also dog friendly) and fields to walk for kilometers. Perfect if you feel tired from the noises, hazzle and battle in the city. A big plus is the pool in the middle of the resort right by the river❣ even if you only come for one night, you will feel absolutely refreshed returning home 🏡
I went to a one week mindful living retreat because I wanted to re-center my body, mind and soul❣ My week at Sangha was filled with a lot of plant based eating, meditation, conversations and healing. After we have gone through a turbulent time due to the pandemic this was exactly what I was looking for. The resort offers various programs, one of the biggest Spa's in Asia and a beautiful infinity pool. Perfect environment to reset yourself🥰
During my last days of home quarantine in 2020, I was almost dying inside for stepping outside and breathing the fresh air. I visited this park on the last day and didn’t regret at all. It was Spring and the park seemed dressed up with all the beautiful colors from the nature. The memories of stepping every corner of the park is still so refreshing.
