E35***60might be the most touristic, but still the most beautiful beach on the island! enjoy a beer while your feet are buried in Snow White sand! :-)

Laura Grace TarpleyThis is the most easily accessible waterfall on the island. We also went to Koh Chang during the dry season, so not all the waterfalls were still running. Khlong Phlu was running, though. You can easily spend a couple hours here. Walk about twenty minutes on a trail to reach the waterfall. Then swim in the clear water surrounding Khlong Phlu. It costs 200 baht per person to enter the park.

E34***15Beautiful beach, so pretty. The only downside is the pebbles on the shoreline hurt your feet a little bit but once you are past them the water is shallow and warm.

超级cttThe observation deck not far from the Sea View Resort is suitable for watching the sunset. There is a small cafe here. Coffee is super cheap. It is also very convenient to park the motorcycles. The motorcycles are parked for free. Stop here to take pictures and have a cup of coffee for half an hour. But the weather is also very important. If the weather is good, you can see the sea in different layers of colors. It is a good viewing platform, located on the upper road next to the main road. There are plenty of parking spaces in the viewing platform, toilets and a small bar. You can also go up to the second floor to see more beautiful scenery

Laura Grace TarpleyThis beach is one of the most popular beaches on the island. Come here if you like a good party and don’t mind a crowded atmosphere. During the day, drink beer on the sand and receive amazing Thai massages. At night, nearby bars and clubs get pretty packed. Lonely Beach is the ideal location for a backpacker looking for a relaxing atmosphere and a good time.

pxy0705Bang Bao Fishing Village in Koh Chang is a place where fishermen live and is the largest seafood market here. The entire small fishing village is built in wooden floating houses, and the houses are connected by wooden trestle bridges. The seafood here is very cheap and very fresh. It is definitely worth visiting to experience this unique fisherman’s life.

Koh Chang Travel Tips

About Koh Chang

Koh Chang (also spelled Ko Chang) is an island in eastern Thailand. It is the one’s second largest island, but is lightly populated and has only recently undergone real development. Long a backpacker’s paradise, Koh Chang is processed, as per the Thai government’s desire, into a typical beach resort destination, which has caused controversy in the area. Hotels like GajaPuri Resort & Spa and Panviman Resort Koh Chang are the norm. The island is famous for utterly pristine beaches and marine environments which are threatened by rapid and unregulated development. The most popular activities for visitors center on nature. Snorkeling, SCUBA diving and just plain beach relaxing are widely available, as are hikes through the steaming jungle.
