东张西望望东西There are many Japanese here in Hawaii, so when you see Lahaina Jindo Temple, the first feeling is very much like the temples in Kyoto. Very quiet place, not many tourists, and the surrounding area is very good.
When coming to Hawaii for the first time, you always look for all kinds of sunshine beaches and believe that Hawaii is a romantic place for young people to witness love. Hawaii has everything you desire from luxuriantly rainforest to volcanic deserts and from snowy mountains to beautiful black sand beaches. This is the favorite place for many Hollywood directors. Let’s have a look.
I stayed at the Hyatt in July.
As others have posted, the hotel has been renovated recently. The grounds, exterior, interior, and rooms are beautiful. We stayed in an ocean front room in the main building on the 18th floor with two queen-sized beds and it provided plenty of space for us. The balcony was smaller than I expected, but the view was amazing. So nice to hear the ocean waves. And even though you could hear noise from the pool, it wasn't overwhelming.
Everyone has their own threshold of what is a dealbreaker on a vacation. I found that while the room rate was expensive, it was worth it. Bottom line is that I would stay here again.
the beds--they were so comfortable
housekeeping--they did an excellent job every day. They really cleaned the room well and were willing to provide extra towels
coffee in the room--delicious. Some nice teas, too.
bathroom--huge bathroom area with plenty of space to store clothing.
interior lighting in the room makes it easy to get up in the middle of the night if you need to use the bathroom.
Don't forget that there is storage under the beds. I didn't realize this until I read other reviews.
Japengo--excellent. Wonderful ambiance
Swan Court--It was a bit expensive (I think breakfast is $30person) but the food is plentiful and good
Umalu--offers decent pub/lunch offerings. Many have criticized the quality. I thought food was more creative at other restaurants, but the drinks were good and the service was excellent.
Son'z--pretty good, but there's better dining to be had on Maui.
Hawaii coffee--you can order your coffee ahead of time and avoid the long lines in the morning.
While the beach is narrow, I still found there was plenty of space to place a beach chair or a towel and enjoy swimming and snorkeling. And I actually preferred this stretch of beach to the beach in front of the Westin where so many snorkeling tours depart from. It was peaceful in front of the Hyatt.
It was lovely to see
