m15***71On Sunday, I drove from Verona to Venice and passed Padua for a short tour. On Sunday, the streets were very empty, but when I walked to the Basilica of St. Anthony, it immediately became lively. There is a weekend market around the church and the church itself is very busy. Famous, I spend my time around the church

Square
爱旅游的背包客Coming out of Padua Railway Station and walking along the main street, I came here. This square is very large and there are many sculptures. Locals relax here, and tourists mainly go to St. Anthony's Church. This is also an important traffic road, from here there are buses to the suburbs.

Palace
Calvin在路上A huge building with two-story Gothic style, it is 81.5 meters long, 27 meters wide, and 24 meters high. It is known as the largest unsupported roof in Europe. It is also called Salone (Assembly Living Room) because of its gorgeous hall on the top floor. The first floor is now used as a fruit and vegetable market, and the second floor holds temporary exhibitions. Outside the market is also a variety of small shops, very lively.

门子乀I visited the Pedrocchi Café in Padua in November 2013 and it is still operating normally. We visited the exhibition hall on the second floor of the cafe and displayed countless souvenirs left by countless literati and inkmen over the years. I also tasted the unique Pedroi coffee in the cafe on the first floor. The green powdery cheese-like spices floating on the coffee cream are unforgettable!
