Lighthouse
moxiaoyaThis is one of the well-known attractions on Highway 1, and tourists who drive this route should stop for a while and take photos. Pigeon Point Light Houes has a history of more than 130 years. It is also the tallest active lighthouse on the west coast of the United States. The lighthouse is on the cliff side and is 35 meters high. The car can only be parked on the side of the road, and then you can reach the lighthouse on a short walk. That sea area is exceptionally beautiful, and it is said that in some months, groups of whales can be seen there. On the day we went, the sky was very pure and blue, cloudless, and the blue sky with the white lighthouse was particularly conspicuous. There is a small shop next to the lighthouse for souvenirs and souvenirs related to the lighthouse. We bought refrigerator magnets in the shape of a lighthouse, which looked pretty. The wind on the beach is very strong, so you can leave after taking a photo, otherwise, after a long time, I think the whole face will be deformed. Haha!

coo***anGreat place for a special occasion or just experiencing a gourmet meal on a farm. Enjoyed delicious hor's douvres on porch overlooking pond. BYOB. Toured farm seeing goats and chickens with guided information. Family style seating in dining room in rustic setting. Service a bit slow but they were missing a server. Food delicious, dishes prepared with fresh, local items. Very enjoyable evening; will definitely go again.

Beach
moxiaoyaThere are many beautiful beaches on Highway 1, but I think this one is really beautiful. We went to the Pigeon Point Lighthouse to check in, so we stopped and watched. I didn't go to the beach, I just went ashore to take a look. Because the wind was too big and the sun was big, it didn't feel too friendly, so I took a picture and bought a souvenir and left quickly. But the bushes on this beach, and the colorful algae on the reef, the colors are so beautiful, colorful. Especially the large tracts of succulent bushes are spectacular! Those succulents are as endless as lawns, fat-growing, and worthless as weeds are everywhere. But in our country, not only do you need money to buy succulents, but the key is that it is not easy to feed home. I often buy a bunch of them and die for up to 2 months! Well, the beautiful Route 1 and the spectacular succulents make me vivid and will never forget.
