Yvette***Queensland is the only state in Australia that allows tourists to hug a koala, woo hoo! As such, Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is the MUST go place for all animal lovers. Thanks to trip.com, we managed to get a discounted entrance ticket at $20+ (Tips: buy in advance, usual price is $40). There are two koala photo session each day, it is totally free (ranger will hug the koala for u), however if you want to hug a koala by yourself, you are required to pay for another $25, still worth it since you can’t hug it anywhere else. There is a very big compound reserves for kangaroos, kangaroos and wallabies are roam freely in the area, I somehow managed to catch a selfie w a kangaroo! But, beware of your steps, their shits are everywhere on the floor. Some other activities to highlight are sheep dog herding show, falcon and owl feeding.Overall is a very good experience, easily accessible by bus (direct to CBD area), people normally spend 3-4 hours there.
_We***79Walking down South Bank was unexpected. The area is so well laid out. There is a nice balance between walking paths along tge river, walking paths into nature areas and into parks. It also has areas for families to play and friends to hang out on the grass and play games. The wheel, I'm sure, would give a wonderful view of the CBD area. I can only imagine the night view with all the bridges lit up. Had a nice time strolling the area for a few hours, then dinner not to far away.
娜娜米When planning the trip to Australia, I was going to Cairns. I didn't know much about Australia before, so I knew only a few regular places. After reading a few travel notes, I learned about White Beach, and I was immediately attracted by the unique layered beach water, so I immediately changed the route to the Whitsunday Islands. To go to White Beach, you need a local group. You can choose to fly to Airlie Beach (airport code ppp) or Hamliton Island (airport code hit) for domestic flights in Australia. Accommodations on Hamilton Island are limited. My experience is that if you book more than one month in advance, there are no islands. Vacancies are available. If you want to live on Hamilton Island, you should check the hotel in advance with domestic flights. If you live in Airlie Beach, the starting island is to go to White Paradise Beach, and then the boat will go to other islands to pick up guests. Hamilton Island is basically the last island. It is recommended to sign up for a one-day tour and leave early in the morning. The boat will take more than an hour. White Heaven Beach belongs to the Whitsunday Islands National Park and is a nature reserve, so there is no hotel on the island, so it is easier to maintain the original ecological beauty, and all garbage must be taken away. The scenery is beautiful and the sand is particularly fine. There is a Hill Inlet, which is a viewing platform on the hillside. You can look forward to the White Heaven Beach. The sandy beach looms out in the sea with a very beautiful layering. The beauty of White Paradise Beach is unique because the scenery is different every moment. The tides and waves make the sand move differently. It is a unique natural sand painting. There are many lizards on the island, and I saw turtles snorkeling. Note that there are sand flies on the beach. In addition to going directly to the White Beach, it is recommended to choose another aerial project (helicopter, sightseeing plane, seaplane) to see White Beach, Whitsunday Islands, and Great Barrier Reef from the air.
With gentle waves and year-round lifeguard patrol, Noosa's Main Beach is a perfect swimming spot, ideal for families or those who aren't confident in the bigger swells. One of only a handful of beaches along Australia's coastline that faces north, Main Beach also hosts surfing lessons. The beach backs onto leafy Hastings Street with its bustle of upmarket cafés, bars, restaurants, and shopping spots.
For a quieter scene, adventure around the corner to Noosa Spit, a popular picnic spot and off-leash dog beach.
Amenities: food and drink; lifeguards; parking; showers; toilets.
Best for: sunrise; sunset; swimming; walking.
I feel very lucky to live here which feels like I’m always on holiday!
I absolutely love walking through the Noosa National Park. So many different tracks, things to see and do.
You can access the park from Hastings Street in Noosa or from the Sunshine Beach end.
Go to one of the many stunning beaches, take some Instagram worthy photos in the fairy pools, go for a surf, trek for miles through the park full of trees and wildlife.
Spot dolphins and whales in the sea, koalas chilling in the trees, bush turkeys rearranging the undergrowth, lizards sun baking and the occasional kangaroo hopping around.
Fun for all the family, I thoroughly recommend a visit. Better access from the Hastings Street end with a pram/wheelchair accessible path for a few km where you can access many of the picturesque spots such as Dolphin Point, Tea Tree Bay and Hells Gate, with public toilets on the way.
Remember, look after the park!
Goldcoast Helitours located at Marina Cove, Goldcoast, Australia.
An aerial view of Goldcoast. Operate by professional pilot. The pilot is quite informative explaining the area.
Great experience. Staff were friendly. Brief all the safety guidelines. We took flight time 15 mins for SGD$99. There’s option to choose: 10 mins for marina cove and seaworld area, 15 mins for marina cove + seaworld area and surfer paradise, 20 mins for entire goldcoast area (lol, the 15 mins seems like the entire Goldcoast to me, not sure of the 20 mins.)
Hint: Take picture or video as many as possible!!!

This was my first ever whale watching tour, book the day trip to Tangalooma Island Resort, which located at Moreton Island. The cruise departs daily between 8am and 10am from Brisbane Jetty and it takes approximately 75mins to reach Moreton Bay.
There are many activities available in the island such as desert safari, snorkeling, ATV quad bike, marine discovery and whale watching. I’m fortunate to join the whale watching tour as it is only available from June to October.
The cruise is sailing smoothly and comfortably, do pay attention to captain broadcast as captain will announce when the whale is approaching. there are also dolphin, pelican and other marine creatures that you can explore in the island.

Maritime landmark The Southport Spit isn’t just a favourite for local fishermen throwing in a line.
But make your way to the permanent sand spit that separates Southport Broadwater from the Pacific Ocean at sunrise, and you’ll see one of the district’s best vistas. Budding photographers can’t afford to forget their camera; the jetty and its population of local fishing fans make excellent subject matter.
Stayed while on business in Cambridge. About a mile and a half walk from the city center or on the main bus routes. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms, although small have everything you need and the bathroom is a decent size. The only criticism is that the TV is no bigger than a laptop screen and the WIFI is terrible (this is the reason for only 4 stars). Breakfast was cooked to order and was very good. Reasonable price and nice stay
