3adeThis Equator Monument Park is a new monument. It costs US$7.5 per person to enter the park. There is a small old monument on the other side of the park. The new monument park is not only the equator line, but also some popular science museums and experience projects. Really cool thing

Churches and Cathedrals
HuaCFBeen there twice, a great experience, the first time I visited only the church lobby, very shocking Gothic architecture, I have been to the church bell tower to climb the tower, I need to be before 16:00, the first time is because I didn't have time to climb the tower at night, and the top of the tower overlooked all the scenery of Quito's old town. Construction of the cathedral began on July 10, 1892 and was funded by the state to enshrine the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The chief architect of the church, Emilio Tarlier, was inspired by the Cathédrale Saint-Étienne de Bourges (Cathédrale Saint-Étienne de Bourges) in Bourges, Cher, France, the power center of medieval Christianity in France. On January 30, 1985, Pope John Paul II blessed the church, and the consecration was held on July 12, 1988. In fact, it was equivalent to stamping and acknowledging the noble status of the church.

Churches and Cathedrals
pan***heThe old city of Quito, the capital of Ecuador, is a World Heritage Site, but it looks like Europe at first glance, except that the people walking on the road are a little darker and shorter. Today is Sunday, and all churches are praying. Visit the Cathedral of San Francisco. The glass windows of the church are brightly colored and beautiful in shape. It was said on the Internet that we could go up to the second floor and the view was very good. We went up to the second floor inside the church and found that there was nothing. Later we learned that it was the second floor from the outside stairs, but the door was closed. There is an ice cream seller at the entrance of the church, and the vendor stirs it with a spoon in a constantly rotating pan. There are ice cubes on the outside of the pan to keep it cold.

Historical Site
翱翔的大鲨鱼Plaza de la Independencia Quito’s central square is not very big, nor is it empty and can be seen at a glance, but a park with a monument to the hero of independence in the middle, surrounded by many trees and benches, many locals are here Sitting casually. On one side of it is Palacio de Carondelet. The presidents of Ecuador since independence have all worked here, and on the other side of the square is the Catedral Metropolitana de Quito, the cathedral of Ecuador.

National Park
pxy0705Carolina National Park in Quito is a national park with volcanic landforms. The scenery here is very magnificent, the mountains are endless, one after another. The vegetation here is not very rich, it seems a bit desolate, but here is a famous hiking route, attracting countless backpackers to hike here every day.

Historical Architecture
pxy0705The Presidential Palace in Quito is a very beautiful building, and part of its area is open to the outside world. The beautiful multi-pillar cloister gives people a very comfortable feeling. The entire Presidential Palace has a distinct European architectural style, fresh and elegant, and it is a must-visit place when visiting Quito.
