Memorial Temple
_CF***96Quxian Confucian Temple is located at No. 93, Heping Street, Qujiang Town, Qu County, Sichuan Province. It covers an area of 5711 square meters and is currently the only well-preserved Qing Dynasty ancient building complex in northeastern Sichuan. Quxian Confucian Temple was built before Song Jiading. The existing Confucian Temple was built in the second year of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (AD 1663). Kang, Yong, Qian, and Jia were successively repaired according to regulations. The construction was completed in the autumn of the first year of Daoguang (1821), and it took 158 years to reach its scale. The Confucian Temple in Quxian County is based on the mountain, using the rare symmetrical layout of the central axis to arrange the palace walls, Panchi, Dingxingmen, Jimen (Dachengmen), Dongxiyu, Dacheng Hall, and Chongsheng Temple ingeniously and reasonably. (Qishengdian) is a courtyard-style building with a three-entry courtyard house with a main frame. The entire ancient building community of Quxian Confucian Temple is in the shape of a ladder, and the pavilions and pavilions are integrated. The main building is tall and majestic and majestic. In 1986, Quxian Confucian Temple was announced by Quxian People's Government as the first batch of county-level cultural relics protection units. In 2001, Quxian Confucian Temple was announced as the first batch of municipal cultural relics protection units by the Dazhou Municipal People's Government. In 2007, Quxian Confucian Temple was announced as the seventh batch of provincial cultural relics protection units by the Sichuan Provincial People's Government. In 2013, Quxian Confucian Temple was announced by the State Council as the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units. Quxian History Museum is located in Quxian Confucian Temple. It is a national third-level museum and the second batch of free museums in the country. The cultural relics exhibition hall displays many exquisite and precious cultural relics.
