juki235Lake Bled is a very beautiful European inland lake. The lake here is formed by melting snow-capped mountains. In the middle of the lake, there is a beautiful small island. The island is a church. The pointed towers give people a very fairytale. The beauty of this place is definitely one of the best places to visit the forest scenery in Europe on a leisure holiday. Don’t miss such a beautiful scenery.
juki235Bled Castle is located on the shore of Lake Bled. He is located on a high mountain. The red roof makes him very conspicuous. He can be seen from a long distance. It is condescending to overlook the beauty of the lake and the wonders of the surrounding snow-capped mountains. It is really a romantic place isolated from the world and worth visiting.
Eric SuiAlthough it was raining heavily outside, in the morning we headed to the secluded and beautiful Ventega Canyon 4 kilometers north of Bled Lake. Most sightseeing groups do not visit this attraction, but if you have plenty of time and like to walk on foot, I recommend you to come and walk! It is 1.6km in length and is formed by the Radnova River meandering through the canyon. You can enjoy the beauty of the canyon by walking along the boardwalk close to the cliff. Although I am wearing a raincoat, my shoes and clothes are still wet. If it doesn't rain, I can stay a little longer, and now I rush back to where I live and continue to catch the next attraction.
juki235Bled Island is a very beautiful island with a long history of the Assumption Cathedral. The tall bell tower of the church is its symbol. The whole island is very quiet and tree-lined. It is a typical European island resort and is definitely worth a visit.
吴新彝It’s only 14 degrees here. I don’t know why I still feel cold while wearing a down vest~~ Probably because of the sea. The air is very good, very fresh, the air is filled with the smell of rustling, all kinds of vegetation are also growing very spiritual
Lake Bled is a lake in the Julian Alps of the Upper Carniolan region of northwestern Slovenia, where it adjoins the town of Bled. The area is a tourist destination. The lake is 35 km from Ljubljana International Airport and 55 km from the capital city, Ljubljana. Lake Bled is 4.2 km from Lesce-Bled train station.
The lake is of mixed glacial and tectonic origin. It is 2,120 m (6,960 ft) long and 1,380 m (4,530 ft) wide, with a maximum depth of 29.5 m (97 ft), and it has a small island. The lake lies in a picturesque environment, surrounded by mountains and forests. Medieval Bled Castle stands above the lake on the north shore and has a museum. The Zaka Valley lies at the west end of the lake.
The World Rowing Championships in 1966, 1979, 1989, and 2011 were held at Lake Bled.
This is the restaurant that every tourist is seeking out when traveling back to Slovenia. You'll find classic Slovenian staples here, very filling, heart-warming, good. I'd go so far as to say comfort food! Our meal here was well-deserved after climbing the stairs up and down from Bled Castle. The decor is classic gostilna style. We felt like we had a very authentic gostilna meal here. As you'll read in the menu, they make it a priority to locally source all of their ingredients. We went to Gostilna Murka and the menu offers a few different selections where you'll find "platter-style" entrees, so if you are looking to try a little bit of everything, I'd suggest these. We ourselves got the classic squid and potato, and creamy pasta, plus they gave you some sides to eat it with. We closed our big meals with a parfait-style dessert which was heavenly good!
Ah! Lake Bled sits in the one unassuming landscape of my head that makes up unticked travel plans that I’d like to realise before I die. When I think of Lake Bled and its magnificent seat in Slovenia, I’m sated for the day. Maybe it’s the shape of the islet that makes it look like a dollop of cake frosting or maybe it’s the far lands hidden in the mountains that are still reduced to nothing by the presence of this little piece of land. You might wonder why it’s on this list if the world knows about it, but famous as it seems, it still doesn’t get the attention it deserves!
My favourite place in Slovenia 🇸🇮, Vintgar gorge is very beautiful and tranquil. Definitely a must go to place when you visit Slovenia or Bled.
#lakebled #solvenia offer scenic view of emerald-green lake, picture-postcard church on an islet and some of the highest peaks of the Julian Alps and the Karavanke as backdrops
Bled is located in Slovenia, reachable by Ljublana, the capital. We came from Salzburg by bus, which took around 3-4 hours. To see a nice view, you have to hike the nearest hill so you can see the beautiful lake from above! #happynewyear #lakebled #BeautifulLake
Bled with my boy 😎
A beautiful afternoon high up in the Slovenian countryside. Fun Fact: This little village was apparently sold for 2 wheels of cheese back in the day!
In the heart of the Slovenian mountains you will find beautiful Lake Bled. With it's little church on an island it is one of the most impressive sights in the whole country.
