MadameLeeThe northern part of Vietnam is different from the ancient towns and seaside scenery in the south. It seems like an independent world, with quiet mountains, magnificent terraces, and the reputation of "North Vietnam Alps". Sapa is the most charming tourist destination in the northern mountains. The most beautiful ecological wild luxury hotel in Sapa-Topas Ecolodge, staying here is definitely the best way to experience Sapa.
翱翔的大鲨鱼Fansipan, the highest peak in Vietnam, has a heavenly feeling.
When you come to Sapa, you must not miss the highest peak in Vietnam-Fansipan, especially now that there is a fast and convenient cable car. It originally took three days to climb to the top, but now it only takes 20 minutes to climb to the top, which is super fast and convenient. And safe! It is super easy for both adults and children to appreciate the beautiful Fasipan.
Sa Pa is a small town on the southwest border of Vietnam, precisely in Lao Cai Province. The city at an altitude of 1,600 meters above sea level is included in the Lien Son Mountains region, including Mount Fansipan, near the Chinese border.
Mount Fansipan itself is the highest mountain in Indochina (Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar) with an altitude of 3,143 meters above sea level. His highest status earned Fansipan the title The Roof of Indochina (Roof of Indochina). Honestly, Fansipan was one of the deal breaker that made me and Arne finally, “Come on, budhal to Sa Pa!”
Sa Pa is about 350 km southwest of Hanoi. To be able to reach Sa Pa, there are many choices, if you want to look for it. However, for those of you who choose public transportation, Sa Pa can be reached by using a sleeper bus or sleeper train.
Perhaps, many are not familiar with this destination. However, I can say, Sa Pa is very worthy to be included in the bucket list in Southeast Asia.

While many people would set their travel location to be at Ho Chih Min city, I chose Hanoi and deep into the rural Sapa for a hike and stay in the village, deep down right into its roots, literally.
Visiting Sapa, Vietnam in the winter months was definitely a unique experience. We arrived early in the morning and fog was everywhere, could hardly see anything around. The weather was super cold to us cuz we came from the south of Vietnam. Unfortunately we couldnt see the spectaculos view of moutains, which is feature of the northern provinces. Will be back in Aug - Sep this year.
My best friend for months on my travels to Vietnam. And yes we did conquer Vietnam just with motorbike. And we are now in Sapa. Obviously the most popular destination in the northwest of Vietnam, Sapa was established by the French as a place of retreat in the early 20th century.
Since then, it has been an ideal choice for a getaway from Hanoi as well as a leisure base for exploring the surrounding attractions. From Sapa, you can bike or trek through some of the best rice terraces in the world then stop by villages to discover the distinctive lives of H’Mong or Dao People.
This is a valley about 20 kilometers in diameter, we can choose to walk or drive a motorcycle. The highlight of the entire valley is the rice terraces in the background of the mountains
The scenery of the rice fields on the road is breathtaking. Green plants are so pleasing to the eye. The undulating hills and paddy fields, cabins and trails add to the atmosphere of this place. People living here are immersed in their culture and traditions, adding a unique feel to the place.
is about 3 kilometers from the town of Sapa in Vietnam. There are many
walks from the village, where you will see many locals wearing traditional costumes arriving at the Miao nationality. Some common Miao people in the village
