🍹🥪Sunday’s Toast w the Most~!
🥪🥜🍗Gettin’ the most out of brunch w this stacka’ 𝐏𝐁 & 𝐉 𝐒𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐞, as its nuttiness comes through w the savoury crunchy chicken katsu, rounded off w a good sweet-spicy sriracha. If you’re a nutter, this is your jam!
🥐🍳Get eggs-tra w the creamiest 𝐒𝐦𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐞, creamy custardy folds of egg-citement along w crunchy bites of peppers & corn, & two mini croissants to dip in w.
🧇🍤Otherwise a hearty Thai-inspired 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐢-𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐖𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐬, or a jap-inspired 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐀𝐮𝐱 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐬 topped w crunchy breaded shrimps on a thicc garlic toast.
🧄🍟🧀Perhaps a serve of chunky 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐞 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 to share, but most definitely, this platter of gooey 𝐁𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐞 & crispy flatbread to keep it dippin’~
🍹🫖Cheers w a couple bougie teas & refreshing coolers, such as the 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐲𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐮𝐦 𝐖𝐨𝐥𝐟 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐲𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐞 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤, 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 & 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐮𝐜𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐨𝐣𝐢𝐭𝐨.

💋💨Smoked & devoured~
🔥🐠It awakens all senses w this 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐬𝐮𝐨 𝐧𝐨 𝐓𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐢, where its skin is lightly seared, then sliced into pink rare slabs over a bed of straws that’s being torched at the table & uncovered to 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 ‘𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐲’ 𝐬𝐦𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐚. Firm w fatty flavours on its own, & nicely paired w the strong raw flavours of the onions, garlic & chilli ponzu.
The October Seasonal Menu includes;
🐟💭~ 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐤𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐝 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐭 𝐑𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐤;
My fave delicacy of the night - as the heap of pudgy shirako glistened from its pool of bonito-citrus dressing that gives a lil boost to its mild cheese-liked flavour. This was parboiled till the sacs got a tad tighter & firmer in texture, & its flavours more enhanced. 𝐌𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡-𝐠𝐚𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬, 𝐚𝐬 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐩𝐮𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠-𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐟𝐥𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐚.
🥚🍙~ 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 ‘𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐡;’
Half an egg drenched w ikura, topped w gurenge sea urchin & wasabi. First bite into the spoon for a mouthful of bursting flavours of the sea, & another bite wrapped in nori along w the hidden rice ball in the bowl.
🍁🐟🍙~ 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐭-𝐩𝐨𝐭 𝐆𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐦𝐚 𝐅𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐰 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐨𝐲 𝐬𝐚𝐮𝐜𝐞;
Slabbed w jap rice, wrapped in shiso leaves, then crusted w salt & grilled till tender & flakey w its ubiquitous bones & distinctive oily flavours.
🐟🍄~ 𝐁𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐰 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦𝐬 & 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐨.
🍠~ 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐲 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐏𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐨 𝐰 𝐡𝐨𝐤𝐤𝐚𝐢𝐝𝐨 𝐫𝐚𝐰 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐥 𝐬𝐚𝐮𝐜𝐞.
🥚~ 𝐏𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬 𝐄𝐠𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐫.
🫒🥃~ 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐔𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐮;
The 𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐞 & 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐰 𝐚 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐞 & 𝐩𝐞𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐯𝐨𝐝𝐤𝐚 & 𝐚 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐮𝐦 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐛𝐮𝐝𝐬. Curiosity got me trying a juicy plum(p) & it literally oozed a potent shot of vodka w a nice tang from chewing on the plum’s flesh. Am inspired to make an alcoholic batch next year!

The Boaters’ Bar in #sentosacove is a rare floating bar in #singapore
It is located in Sentosa Cove near the jetty and right smacked in between luxury yachts docked there. It is a nice place to chill out in the evenings and have a scenic view of the harbour and around Sentosa Cove.
They serve the usual light bites as well as drinks, and in fact run a promotion of $7 of house pour wines, beer and spirits all evening. Staff there is generally friendly as well and the ambience is good.
Do check it out if you are around Sentosa Cove and like to have a floating bar experience in the evenings.
To get there you can drive, take a car or Sentosa Bus B. It is located in front of Sentosa Cove Village and opposite Quayside Isle - which is further.
Cloud Forest at Garden By The Bay is one of Singapore’s most impressive attractions! This magnificent greenhouse-like glass dome can be seen from miles.
Feature one of the world largest indoor waterfalls and a lust mountain clad with plants from around the world.
Hint: Perfect time to go at 6.30pm onwards, go up to the cloud walk and see panaromic view of sunset and MBS!
The #sentosacove boardwalk circles around the shops and hotels around Sentosa Cove in #singapore
The board walk is beside the docks and jetty and is wide and expansive covering all of the commercial areas at Sentosa Cove. It is a very scenic walk by the harbour and it brings you from One Marina at one end, all the way to Sentosa Cove village where the cold storage and some shops are and pass Quayside Isle where lots #deliciousfood beverage etc can be found and ends near W Singapore.
To get there you can drive, take a car or take Sentosa Bus B where you can either alight at Cove Village or W Sentosa which are near the ends of the boardwalk.
Joe & the juice is a cool cafe in #sentosacove in #singapore
Located at Quayside Isle and it opens from early morning and is a great #cafe to get your morning fix. They serve good coffee, as well as various type of drinks including tea and juices.
Service is good and fairly quick. For now they have removed most of their seating areas indoors and outdoors so best to takeaway your drinks. The cafe is nicely decorated and a good place to hang out if you are able to get a seat.
To get there take Sentosa bus B and alight at W hotel, the cafe is just a short couple of minutes walk away. Otherwise you can cycle or drive there as well.
