Cambodia 🇰🇭 Phnom Penh [Zhongwu Killing Field] Killing Field sofChoeung Ek Zhongwu Killing Field is located in the southern suburbs of Phnom Penh, 15 kilometers away from the city, once a concentration camp for the Khmer Rouge. Most of the people who died here, including men, women, children and babies, have been exhumed in the killing field of more than 9,000 bodies, so here is also known as mass graves. In 1988, the Phnom Penh government built a pagoda to lay skulls excavated from the graves to remember the innocent dead. After the Khmer Rouge took power in 1975, they turned Cambodia into a hell on earth. The baby was even caught in front of his mother and put his foot on his feet, banging his head against the tree, cracking his brain and killing him. It was not until 1979 that the tiny Central and Southern Peninsula was known to have staged a human purgatory in three years, and the Bell Field homicide house on the outskirts of Phnom Penh was just one of more than 300 killing sites across Cambodia. Address: ផ្លូវជើងឯក, Phnom Penh, Cambodian Transportation: 11B Bus can reach, 15 kilometers in the southern suburbs of Phnom Penh about $6 for motorcycles; about $10 for tuk tuk; about $13 for taxi tickets: $6, free voice guide, more than a dozen languages time: 07:30-17:30

Cambodia 🇰🇭 Phnom Penh [S21 Prison Museum] (Tuslian Massacre Museum) Tuol Sleng Genocide MuseumS21 Prison Museum is located in the south of Phnom Penh City. It was originally a high school school. During the Khmer Rouge Pol Pot rule, it was used as a concentration camp for prisoners. The camp, which had imprisoned more than 17,000 intellectuals, civilians, women and children, was a daily torture of countless people until the Hengshan Forest regime invaded Phnom Penh in 1979, leaving only 14 bodies and seven survivors. The torture equipment and presentations displayed in the museum were horrifying. In the short three years and eight months of the Khmer Rouge, Cambodia's population has plummeted by a third, which is unprecedented in history.
