fz570628The Trentino-Alto Adige region is the northernmost region of Italy, bordering Austria, and the Southern Alps cover a large part of the region. In addition to wine and dairy products, papermaking and other industries, tourism is an important source of income. The natural scenery here is beautiful, especially the famous resort for winter skiing.
千里欢歌The majestic and beautiful Gaslow National Park This summer my wife and I came to the beautiful Bolzano for summer vacation. Odell’s magnificent dolomite formations form this paradise-like valley, far away from secular disputes and noise. There is a small village in this valley, all necessary infrastructure is fully equipped. There you can enjoy authentic Italian country-style cuisine and culture, of course, there are also many famous places, so you don't have to worry about accommodation. There is also a small supermarket with basic beverages. Here you can enjoy many outdoor sports you want to experience, such as skiing, hot air ballooning, hiking, mountain climbing and the like. The valley is located in a natural park reserve, and it is full of mountain animals and plants, such as highland rock sheep, deer, squirrels, etc. The original ecology of the entire valley is well protected, and the water quality here is very superior, reaching the level of drinking mountain spring water. Were it not for the dangerously slippery road, we would really like to taste the mineral-rich spring from the melting of snow-capped mountains. The mountains are surrounded by clouds and mist, and some high peaks are covered with white snow, which contrasts sharply with the dark green and dull mountain colors. There are many huts and shelters in the park where you can eat. After a tiring day, what could be more pleasant than a plate of hot eggs, potatoes, bacon and a glass of dark beer. Tips: 1. The parking fee is 5 Euros. 2. Hiking shoes and climbing skid are necessary equipment.

Mountain cliffs, mountain lakes, virgin forests, alpine meadows, you must go once in your life! The largest high-altitude alpine meadow in Europe. Alpe Di Siusi is a famous part of the Dolomites on the Hughes Plateau with herds of cattle and sheep. It is also one of the landmarks. Famous hiking routes and winter snow trails. The elevation of Mount Hughes is between 1,680m asl and 2,350m asl. The surrounding panorama and the magnificence of the mountains, the softness of the slopes, and the wild flowers in the summer form the beauty of Mt. Hughes. Hughes has thousands of legends related to the mountains, the trial of ancient wizards, and a unique kind of folklore. Hughes is also my favorite stop in some of the mountains in the Dolomites. The golden brilliance of that evening sprinkled on the mountains with changes, and the whole world was romantic and magnificent. There are many accommodations near Hughes, it is highly recommended to stay here, sunrise, morning mist, dusk, starry sky, beautiful scenery is in front of your eyes. .. Getting There - from the city centre follows the signs for Malga Ces. Then either hike on the top or use the cable car. To hike down you can choose between the open path and path in the woods.
Attractions - You’re hiking in the Alps, surrounded by nature. And you might encounter a couple of horses and donkeys if you’re lucky.
Plus, there’s many more trails, lakes, etc etc for you to discover

Hotel Maso Col is a Hotel, with a cafè and a great restaurant not open only to the hotel clientele but also with space reserved for anyone who enjoys a great gastronomic experience.
Surrounded by wide meadows and luxuriant woods, at the foot of the imposing Pale di San Martino on the southern side of the Dolomites, is "Maso Col".
The current family that owns it started in 1921 with a glass of freshly milked milk or a little fresh water to refresh the first "travelers" on their Dolomites.
In 1961 their malga cheeses, “el bòtiro”, cream with small fruits, grilled meats, polenta, “Tosela”, mushrooms and homemade desserts such as strudel were discovered; summer at "Caffè Col" became a rendezvous in the sun in the green, in winter a sled race.
In 2006 they fulfilled the dream of a lifetime and added eight new comfortable rooms, warm and enveloping wooden environments, a particular attention to typical cuisine, directly cured and strong of a long experience and peasant tradition.
Their kitchen offers traditional Trentino and Primierotta dishes, with particular attention to genuine and homemade products with love and passion. Truly a pleasure each time

Lago di Braies, (aka Pragser Wildsee in German and Lake Braies in English) is part of the Fanes-Sennes-Braies nature park, in a side valley next to the Val Pusteria.
At an altitude of 1,496 m (4,908 ft), the 77-acre lake makes for a wonderful half-day trip while traveling through the Prags Dolomites.
On the West side of the lake, there is a small chapel that was built in 1904. The location has a curious bit of history related to World War II, as has the hotel.
It’s truly a beautiful lake, but has gained a lot of fame through Instagram and during the summer it can be filled with tourists.
Choose wisely when to go (it is beautiful also in winter when frozen) and reserve online the parking of you are going by car or motorbike.

#mynovgetaway Serravalle Scrivia is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region of Piedmont, located about 100 kilometres (62 mi) southeast of Turin and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) southeast of Alessandria. The settlement was probably founded by the inhabitants of the Roman city of Libarna after the destruction of that city in 452 AD.
From 1122 Serravalle Scrivia belonged to the bishops of Tortona, until they ceded it to the commune of Tortona, in exchange for the defence of their lands. Later it was an imperial fief, belonging to the Spinola (1313), the Visconti (1381), the Adorno (1391), and the Spinola again from 1482. In 1580 it became part of the Spanish-held Duchy of Milan; after the War of the Spanish Succession, in 1713, it became part of the Austrian Empire.
In 1738, together with the Tortona area, the settlement was acquired by the Kingdom of Sardinia-Piedmont. In 1745, in the course of the War of the Austrian Succession, it was briefly occupied by Franco-Spanish troops. In 1798, after the Napoleonic invasion of Piedmont, it was annexed to the Ligurian Republic; the French, who had conquered Serravalle after the battle of Marengo, had its castle destroyed. In 1815 the Congress of Vienna restored the town to the House of Savoy.
In 1935 the Autostrada A7 (Genoa-Serravalle) was inaugurated, this became the fastest connection from Turin and Milan to the sea.
In geology, the Serravallian Age of the Miocene Epoch is named for Serravalle Scrivia.
The Vajolet Towers 2,821 m are a set of seven mountain peaks of dolomite that rise in the center of the Catinaccio Group, in the Dolomites, conquered at the mountaineering level at the end of the 19th century. mountaineering and touristic, the highest is called the Main Tower (Hauptturm), while the most famous are the Delago, the Stabeler and the Winkler, also known as the Southern Vajolet Towers. On these, unlike the others, there are several very popular rock routes that offer excellent rock and remarkable exposure.
