Last fall I visited the eagle hunters of Mongolia. This felt like one of the last remote places on this planet. It takes almost a week to get to them and once there you are far from any phone signal, city or anything looking like normal civilisation. I stayed in their tents and joined them hunting during the day. They own almost nothing but are still super happy and enjoy life fully. Mongolia was like a painting. The scenery I saw while riding the blue train was so beautiful I drove for more than 10 hours a day but there was no boring gap. It was a trip to Mongolia that was attractive both day and night.
