Stunning place to visit- possible to walk all the way round the reservoir with places to sit and just enjoy the surroundings
The woods are great for walking and cycling over a large area , the nearby village of Chagford is detailing also well worth as visit With plenty of local pubs and coffee shops
Pleasant flat walk, much of it round the reservoir although some paths take you through wooded areas. It was dry when we visited but I could imagine it gets very muddy during wet weather. Small, pay ...
We walked around the reservoir and falls with our dog - was a gorgeous day and surrounding countryside is beautiful. Had some picnic facilities (tables etc) and toilets by parking lot. Lovely place!
A quick stop to discover what we'd heard so much about. It is beautiful, snow on the high moors made a bleak, quick visit but all the same the stark almost Scottishness of the place was perfect.
