    Stunning scenery

    This is as good scenery as you'll see anywhere, beautiful mountains dominated by the beautiful snow-topped Cayambe Volcano. Definitely worth taking in on your Ecuadorian Andes trip.

    Nice view but hard to get to

    Don’t go to cayambe (town) to get to the mountain. The roads on the west side are impassable. Take the southeast highway from Quito. Lots of bears in the area as well. I recommend using a guide.
