The Shimen Mountains get their name from the two twin peaks of the same name. The mountains here are gorgeous and full of lush plant life. There are many places of interest in the mountains. Legend has it that this was the location where Confucius wrote the classic "Book of Changes,” and where Li Bai and Du Fu once feasted with Qilu.
