On business trip I went to this place around 11pm and found very good service. I had a bbq mixed grill I must say this was exactly what I needed. The meat (lamb chicken and something else) had a smoked flavour due to spices or to some burning wood (my guess) that was really interesting. Served with vegetables and various sauces (hummus and other) which really made me believe I was in Lebanon. And finallly this place has a really good location of the tables I found it really relaxing (but put Wi-Fi outside please) Ok maybe not 5 stars but I think this place deserves 4.5. stars for sure!
Massaad offers great tasting Lebanese food. It is best-suited for a friendly gathering, not much for a romantic encounter. Service is fast and food is fresh and reasonably priced.
I have walked past this restaurant so many times on the way to buy fatteh at another restaurant. Tonight I asked the nice man manning the door if they have fatteh and he replied with the magical words: "With pine and meat?" I was sold. It did seem like a bit of a long wait for a take-away order, but it was so worth it. The fatten was delicious! I can't wait to go back and try the bbq- the ones delivered while I was waiting looked amazing: a very generous portion and very few people left much behind- which tells me it must be as good as it looks.
Nothing special about the restaurant. The appetizer was very bad. The barbecue was below normal because it does not contains any salt or spices
