The Japanese restaurant at Raffles Hotel does not look very authentic, but the taste is not bad. It feels better than western food. The fried vegetables inside are very delicious, and the salad is also good, a large portion. .
AverageI need to admit that I am a big fan of Japanese cuisine. Thus I have been to a number of places in and out from Japan and am quite spoiled. We had a menu plus a few extra dishes. Some of them were surprisingly good, others were below average. The miso shiro was much too salty for example. This leads to an over all average. Service was on the poorer side and - as in many other places - much too fast. I was still eating when the next course already arrived and the waitress virtually tried to take the old plate away from me before I had finished. As you would expect, a restaurant in the 18th floor offers some view. But be aware that some tables do not benefit from that, so you better choose the table yourself.
A great Japanese restaurant, the view and service are super top! I didn't expect that the cooking is extremely authentic. Abalone Yuchi Soup really made me a local tyrant. The taste is delicious! The foie gras melts in the mouth and the grilled eel is sweet and delicious!
Nice Japanese restaurant in Dubai, elegant environment, rich dishes, very Japanese style, good taste, high price!
The Japanese restaurant’s dishes are affordable, the interior design is elegant and noble, and the outdoor terrace offers invincible views. Originated in Belgium and Germany 10 years ago, this branch in Dubai opened in January 2017.
