Duncan Town, the wooden carving totems everywhere in the town, with its rich modeling techniques, you can see the characteristics of different original tribes, very nice! ! Hahaha

Duncan is located about 60 km north of Victoria, near Cowichan Bay. The numerous totem poles are a feature of Duncan and hence have the reputation of “Totem City.” In 1985, Mayor Duncan and local Indian sculptors collaborated to erect totem poles at specific locations in the city to celebrate the revival of ancient Indian art in the West Bank. There are nearly 40 totem poles in Duncan, mainly concentrated in Duncan Railway Station. Each totem pole is marked with the name of the engraver. Compared with the ancient totems, these totems are deeply influenced by modern art and are more lively in shape and color. Totem symbols have been seen in many countries during the tour. The two tall totems outside the Beijing National Park are also eye-catching, but the totem is the first time I have seen it as a city, and Duncan City has become a scenic spot for this western Canadian tour.

Duncan Town is not very big, famous for more than 80 totem poles in the town. There are not many tourists on the street. Along the yellow footprints, you can slowly appreciate the totem poles of different shapes, or you can go to the roadside shop to drink coffee and rest. Most of the merchandise in the souvenir shop is related to totems, and the layout is quite literary.

A very small town-style city, almost all turned, did not find Chinese food, found a simple sushi restaurant and Vietnamese powder at the city government door; the biggest feature of the city is countless totem poles.
