We were lucky to get the last seat. The food here was great and the owner personally served water, drinks, entrees and appetizers for each customer. We told her our dishes were not in a hurry because we were tasting the wine, drinking and waiting and we were happy. We were pleasantly surprised when our food was served and other restaurants in South Island were hard to match it. We want to give it a five star rating

It was a pleasure to order all the food in the cafe was homemade rather than mass produced. The lamb pie was excellent, hot, delicious and crispy pastries. Looking forward to coming back here next time.

We came to this restaurant for dinner for 4 consecutive nights while we were on the Otago Peninsula. The food here was amazing, the color and flavor were delicious. The owner was very friendly. My husband tried all the meat dishes here and I loved the fish here. The leg of lamb here has to try. And try the local Pinot Noir wine. Recommended!
