Dunhuang | Mogao Grottoes Mogao Grottoes, commonly known as Thousand Buddha Caves, is located in Dunhuang at the western end of the Hexi Corridor. It was built in the pre-Qin period of the Sixteen Kingdoms. It has been built in the 16th, Northern Dynasties, Sui, Tang, Five Dynasties, Xixia, and Yuan dynasties. It has formed a huge scale, with 735 caves, 45,000 square meters of murals, and mud. It is the largest and most abundant Buddhist art place in the world. Opposite Mogao Grottoes, is the Three Dangerous Mountains. In 366 AD, the monk of Lefu came here to drill a cave, and the millennium continued to expand. Follow the lectures to visit several famous caves, including the Tibetan Buddhist caves that were discovered by Wang Daoshi and sold the scriptures. Photographs are forbidden in the cave, so there are only a few pictures.
