Vapiano is an Italian restaurant chain with a very large European size, a German restaurant franchise based in Cologne. The restaurant offers top quality dishes, including soups and JOE Mom&#39;s restaurant chain offering Italian cuisine, adhering to the fast casual principle. Vapiano was founded in Hamburg in 2002. Since 2011, its largest shareholder is a private equity firm.

Outstanding food, world class 9 course menue. We are well experienced and very in love with Japanese cuisine and we have to say these restaurant &bdquo;plays in champions league&ldquo; !

Didn&rsquo;t have our table, even though we reserved one. Then we waited a while to get the menu. We order a platter for 2 which was a bit over priced for the quantity you get, almost 40&euro; for literally a plate with some cold cuts and cheese. Later on we ordered some cocktails and had to wait more than 20min to get mine.Basically very slow service, even if it is a chill layback environment, the service should be the same.

The lady&#39;s &quot;service&quot; was not good. Very unfriendly.and rude. The gentleman was friendlier. It was cold in the restaurant and we were sitting right in the cold air stream close to entrance. Guests had put their wintercoats back on while dining. The lady refused to give us another table where it should have been a little warmer, while there was possibility to move. Food was nice.
