This one-star Michelin restaurant in the Scottish Highlands has received a variety of praise, crayfish with pumpkin juice is a gourmet expert + beautiful chef. The pigeon meat is also fresh and juicy, and the portion of the whole meal is just right. It is a great Michelin restaurant. Although it is far from the highlands, it is worth visiting!

When I came, I happened to encounter a restaurant activity. I got a 75% discount. It was very cost-effective. The dishes inside were also delicious. The main scenery was very good. The large floor-to-ceiling windows made it very good to see the scenery at the window.

We had Craig as our waiter this evening and he was absolutely amazing, very polite, respectful and up for a good quick chat. The Gaucho is a modern restaurant for solos, families and so on. The toilets were looking good aswell. On the food side: I&#39;d say not the best steak I&#39;ve ever had, but really, really good. The special sauce is doing its job and the topping aswell. Both of them are really delicious. Btw: Craigs recommandation again. :) Looking forward to visit the gaucho another time.

The service was very slow but the staff, when they came, were helpful and friendly. We suspect that there was a shortage of staff.

We received a morning tea for two as a Christmas present, this was the first time we had been, what a beautiful place, Staff were lovely, very attentive, food was great, would definitely go back.

I booked for morning tea with a friend. I had been there before a couple of years ago and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, but this time I was very disappointed. I can&apos;t remember exactly what was included last time, but my memory is of some kind of croissant/ cinnamon bun type pastries, as well as miniature hot items. There was also a light, Greek yoghurt dish. This time there was a dish of rather gloopy porridge with a couple of slices of banana, a small bacon roll and a slice of toast spread with avocado. There was also a scone with a small pot of jam (hardly enough to cover the split scone) and a small dish of clotted cream to share between two. The finishing touch was a large muffin which I felt had been commercially produced as it was no better than you can buy in a supermarket. The scones and muffins were presented on the same plate which looked bland and colourless. No "viennoiseries" at all. So to sum up, you get a small bacon roll, a slice of toast with avocado, a scone with scimpy jam and cream and a muffin for £16.50. I can&apos;t fault the staff who were efficient and attentive, but the Morning Tea experience is nothing like what it was originally and I wouldn&apos;t repeat it .

Afternoon drinks in style

Having booked Afternoon Tea in December 2023 for April 2024 at the cost of £29 per person we received an email mid January advising the price had gone up to £32 as the menu had been revamped and upgrades made to kitchen facilties to bring customers the freshest cake and scone selection from their own pastry kitchen. This however was not the case during our visit. On the day we arrived early due to  coming straight from the train station, we asked if we could have a seat and wait, one of us has mobility issues and requires a walking stick, we were abruptly told no we don&apos;t open until 12. We return at 12 noon, were shown to our table and our order taken, however 35 minutes passed before we received our tea and cake stand. The tea pot came with a separate tea strainer, one of which was very tarnished, unsure if the tea strainer was required as there was no tea leafs in the pot? The sandwiches were well filled, although a bit crusty round the edges, the scones were small, very uniform and did not taste freshly baked (possibly shop bought?). There were no cakes, just one small macaroon, one very small pastry case filled with chocolate/caramel, a small profiterol filled with a blob of cream and a small glass of lime mouse with biscuit crumbs at the bottom. No member of staff approached our table to check everything was okay, until we stood up to leave and to top it all a 10% service charge was added to our final bill. A very disappointing Afternoon Tea for the price paid.

爱丁堡很有名的下午茶饭店哦，里面的屋顶就是特色，里面的英国红茶很不错哦，属于传统的英国吃法，面包配上黄油很不错哦，就是油腻了点。
