In a hotel in a hotel, the environment is very good, the beef inside is delicious, the bread is delicious, the environment is good, the waiter is a little bit less, the light inside is not too bright, everything else is good.

Stayed at the Urban Village Edinburgh with my wife for the first time and we loved it. The place has a real buzz about it and there seems to be a lot going on but at the same time it also felt quite chilled so a great atmosphere. The reception area, bar and dining area are all beautifully finished and well turned out. We paid a little extra to have a larger room and it was superb. All staff really friendly and welcoming, would thoroughly recommend a visit.

We stayed in a holiday rental very close to Cafe Renroc and found it a perfect spot for light lunches and not so light breakfasts. It has a very welcoming atmosphere and an eclectic mix of diners. The small but well considered menu features fresh and tasty food and in good weather the outside tables make a great spot to while away some time watching the world go by. A few evenings a week the cafe stays open late and there is a larger dining area downstairs which is perfect for larger groups. As an added bonus wines and beers are available too. The owner is one of the friendliest hosts I&#39;ve come across and their breakfasts will set you up for the day.
