South Queensferry is a small town with a long history. In the 12th century, the town got its name because Queen St. Margaret often passed by on the way between Edinburgh and Dunfermline. "South Queensferry" in English means "Queen's Southern Ferry". The Queensferry Museum introduces the history of the town and the construction process of the two surrounding bridges.

I want to see the New Bridge, so I booked a boat tour from South Queensferry, which only operates in summer. The itinerary lasts for one and a half hours.
