Went to find out snow depth for recreational use. Had info on many locations right at hand. Good service.
Lamoille Canyon in the Fall = Beautiful
Used to live in the area and returned to visit family. I can't stress enough that visitors need to take the trip through Elko and visit the Rubies and Lamoille Canyon. So many people pass this up and ...

We drove from Elko to Boise, ID through this amazing forest. The highway is in good condition but one should follow the suggestions of speed on the winding highway. They can be very gripping...as in...
Camping
We hiked camped completely enjoyed the outdoors.warm days and cool nights.very well maintained trails. Unfortunately some garbage.we pack it in we packed it out. Had a very good time
A quick visit can be pleasant
We went thru the park, with trekking plan, but changed it midway. Drive was nor very comfortable and some places were very muddy...be ready for some rocky rides...
