"The hotel exceeded expectations. The hotel proactively contacted in advance while still on the way, and upgraded the room after arriving. The room provides snacks, tea sets and a variety of intimate supplies. Outside the window is the green mountains and green waters, and the view is excellent. Breakfast must also be mentioned, as this level of restaurant is completely top-notch. The service is also very warm and caring, and it is basically responsive, and I should be my first choice next time."

Reasons to Recommend: The Hongya Chandi Banshan Yard Tangquan Hotel was recently renovated in 2019, making it a fantastic choice for those staying in Hongya.

"Overall great hotel, with mostly great service. The downside is that it's quite expensive and compared to other 5 star hotels it might not be entirely worth the price. They offer a lot of services , but it feels like they go for quantity over quality in some aspects. At dinner they have only one menu on an IPad and when we wanted something quick for dinner it was impossible to achieve that with a single menu for all guests (Would be a good idea to print out a few paper menus). The lockers in the pool area are mostly all broken. Also the pictures for the pavilion rooms are all taken from the second floor rooms. You can be placed in a first floor room, below the pictures, which isn't as nice and feels a bit strange when you can see at least 7 other pavilions around you. There are a lot of positives, it's clean, friendly service, great breakfast (they serve some Sichuan specialities as well), decent pool and hot spring pools. The overall environment feels like a high class resort. Few downsides, but when the price is so high they bring the score down. If it was priced a bit cheaper those downsides could be ignored, because it's an overall good experience. "

A short drive from Emei Mountain and the famous Buddhist statue there, this hotel is a great base for tourists traveling in the area.

"The hotel is great! It is located next to the bus station to Emeishan, and very close to the Baoguo Temple. Besides that, there are many restaurants around. The room was very clean and comfortable. The 2 women from the reception were extremely helpful and kind, although they don't speak English, they made all the efforts to communicate with us. Just one thing that wasn't a problem, but don't expect much: the swimming pool isn't really a swimming pool, but it fed our need after the 2 days hiking (you can't swim, but can definitely relax in there. Plus, the water was warm). "

"I had very little time here, only 2 nights. The moment I arrived Andy and the lady, I cannot remember her name unfortunately, were so attentive and helpful! I was so surprised by the amazing level of English! They helped me look at the map of Mt Emei and to make a plan. Andy also showed me to my room and was very helpful in showing me where everything was and how to work the heater. Their food is something you HAVE TO TRY! Their pork is my favorite. Everything in the room was great! You need to stay here if you plan a trip to Emeishan. "

"Nice boutique hotel, hot springs in the room were amazing after a long day hiking Emeishan, very nice terrace too, hotel is walking distance to Baoguo temple (5min) and the bus station to the top of Emeishan (10min). Breakfast is buffet style, not the best I had but still OK. Service was very nice. I would stay there again!"

"All the hotels in the Emei yard have a problem. There is no South Square at the high-speed rail station. As a result, the distance of 500 meters must be walked 2 kilometers, so the occupancy rate of this hotel is relatively low, very deserted, and at the same time are all antique buildings.
