Swami's Beach

I absolutely loved Swami's Beach. It was super peaceful and dream-like. Would love to go back. The pebbles on the beach were really neat.

Fantastic surf spot in the heart of Encinitas. Great views of surfers if you do not surf.

This small but growing group of local eateries earns a loyal following with their casual, but creative bill of fare. Lots if healthy options for vegetarian enthusiasts! Fun!

The vibe of Swami's is what makes it a favorite in North County -- hipsters, surfers who literally say "far out," healthy eateries and juice shops, and a gorgeous waterfront. It's a little far for me to make my local beach, but it's a good one.

Swami's Beach is where you go if you grew up here. Except now, with the fancy stairs and parking area, visitors can enjoy it too. Directly below the Self Realization Fellowship, you feel spiritual as you walk down the stairs, taking in the gorgeous ocean and waves. Enjoy for yourself. Paddleboarding is the big thing down there now. So if you are inclined to paddleboard, this is the spot for you!
