In Essen's customs union industrial zone, there is nothing more interesting than the Red Dot Design Museum. From a watch, a tool to an entire interior space, the museum can be made more characteristic through the power of design, and this four-story labyrinth was formerly a boiler room. There are many award-winning design products in the collection, each of which has its own story and its own cultural vocabulary. The Red Dot Design Museum is also home to the organisers of the Red Dot Design Award.
