Beautiful views, holy place
This is an amazing church, placed on top of a rock overlooking the Thracian sea. A religious architectural marvel, standing at the edge if Europe.
Dangerous route. Great view!

Fabulous views
I got dropped off on the main road and walked the 2km uphill to the Church. There'sa little cafe there if you need a drink as well as water.

The chapel by itself wouldn't be a great attraction, what makes it special is its location. 'Panagia Krimniotissa' as this little church is called in Greek can be translated as 'Holy Mary by the abyss...

The view is just breathtaking! Unbelievable. One of the highlights of the island! Incredible. There is a small tavern there as well where one can enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets! No words!
