Tate Modern is contemporary art gallery situated in central London, and is the most explored modern art gallery in the world. It is known for commonly excellent and envelope-pushing exhibitions and for being placed within the now Bankside Power Station, a truly large building with an iconic red brick facade. The gallery is the most well known of the Tate group, which includes galleries in St. Ives, Liverpool and elsewhere. Admission is at no cost.

Tate modern is an amazing museum - and most of the galleries are totally free. The top floor has an amazing view of the city.
An incredible museum that seems to just keep getting better! Plan to spend the day in order to reach all of the exhibits.
It might sound silly, but my favourite thing about the Tate is the scale of the main room. I’ve seen it used for so many exhibits that maximise the space, and it’s by far one of the highlights.
I love this place. The turbine hall is worth the visit by itself. Queues are shorter to get in at the side entrance. And give that £5 donation people!
