Wannianchan Temple

The largest Buddhist monastery in Sanhe Ancient Town has inherited the characteristics of Jiangnan culture. The monastery buildings have a yellow tone, with round windows and yellow walls that are easily reminiscent of Hanshan Temple in Suzhou. Law meetings are held here regularly, and the monastery is open for free.

The Wannian Temple was built in the first year of Song Taizu, that is, 960 AD. Because Song Taizu and Song Taizong fled with their father in their early years, they avoided the disaster and achieved the emperor's business. There are Daxiong Palace, Dizang Palace, Tibetan Jing Pavilion, Guanyin Palace, Temple of Heavenly Kings, Sightseeing Tower, Temple Square.

Free restaurants, especially majestic, shocking. The statue of Luohan, various bodhisattvas, a large Guanyin is particularly tall, there is a reclining Buddha in the Tibetan Sutra, and there is a Guanyin Bodhisattva wearing a red shawl... The Grand Xiong Pavilion is particularly tall, and there are swallows passing by from time to time. There is a particularly tall tower, which is especially worth seeing.

The Wannian Temple is one of the most important attractions in Sanhe Ancient Town and is the Buddhist Cultural Center of Sanhe Ancient Town. The Wannian Temple was built in the Northern Song Dynasty. It is legendary that the family of Zhao Yu, the ancestor of Song, escaped to this place. Later, they became emperors. They remembered the years of the year, so the construction of the lower jaw was also considered to be the Royal Temple. Now, after many wars, most of them have been rebuilt later. No tickets are required, and the temple is now under maintenance.
