A nice bike ride from Robert Moses parking field parking field 5, past the Fire Island Lighthouse and your first town is Kismet. Nice area to stroll or bike.
Kismet Beach on Fire Island is one of my favorite spots. The beach is oceanfront with white sand. It’s a short walk from the bayside. You have a view of the Kismet lighthouse on the ocean.
Boardwalk to Kismet from Robert Moses Field 5 is sadly closed due to Covid so our annual walk is canceled this year. Totally makes sense just didn’t think it would be.
We have been going to Kismet for the past ten years [at least]. We take our boat from Point Lookout and most times when the water is calm we take the ocean. The trip is a little less than an hour. ...
