I didn&#39;t expect that there were really too many people here to eat. We waited in a long queue to wait for the empty position, and then ordered a special dish recommended by the restaurant. We went here after seeing it on Ricks Steves travel video.   It did not disappoint.    The steak was tender and delicious.    The service was impeccable.    Highly recommend!!

The owner and waiter were very nice.  They gave us a table overlooking the Tuscan hills.  The service was prompt but not rushed.   The waiter recommended the dishes, wine pairings and the grappa.   He even anticipated our needing a taxi.  It is in an unforgettable location across the street from Galileo&rsquo;s villa where he spent the last years of his life.

This is a small grocery store with the dining room to the back, high above Florence with SPECTACULAR VIEWS. We first came here 25 years ago after reading about it in Travel and Leisure Magazine. We have referred many friends to Omero when visiting Florence. Take a taxi up, and it&rsquo;s not a long walk back to Piazza Michelangelo&hellip; through MORE stunning views.

What a special place. The view is like a painting.Great ambiance.

I wish I could rate this 11/10! It was the best food we had in Florence. Service and ambiance were excellent! We are planning to go back tonight because no other place compares!!
