It was a nice meal but not much ambience, would prefer softer lighting . It is very bright but welcoming. Got one of the main course and did not realise it did not some with any sides or potatoes. Was nice but the waitress could have mentioned that we needed  a side dish.

The value of the dishes is very high. Have the opportunity to go to Florence to try it! I didn&#39;t expect that in addition to Pizza and Pasta, steak is also a very important food. The street is full of steak house, large pieces of meat hanging in the front window, and meat eaters will droole. The food was good but the chianti sauce was cold.

Great food with friendly, attentive service. We ordered too much (got carried away!) but they were happy to pack it up for us to take away.

My wife and I were fortunate enough to spend 20 days traveling in Italy . Our last 4 days were in Florence. We live in Portland Or and had made plans to meet with some friends from Australia. We went to a very good Italian place the night before and I suggested we might want something other than pasta. I checked out one Indian restaurant and then went to Trip Advisor to check out The Indian Palace. TA --- # 1 restaurant in Florence out of over 1,1950 restaurants . We shared many plates of food and the Aussies were introduced to Dosas, something we get here in the states quite often. Very reasonable and very tasty dishes, the garlic naan was extra good. The staff were friendly and polite. The gnocchi with pistachio pesto was delicious. Other highlights included very good tagliata with artichoke and grilled prawns, The restaurant is located on a seemingly quieter end of the street and was welcoming but not cosy, the restaurant interior was simply done,  A minor point is that I felt that the  lighting could have been a bit softer. But overall happy with our choice.

This was a good Italian restaurant and a great place to go that is not a tourist trap. The food was delicious and there were other families dining there as well. I enjoyed the house wine they had, but as Americans we didn&rsquo;t have ice for soft drinks. Not shocked by this as it is Europe but with other restaurants having it we would have preferred it. I had a pear and cheese filled pasta which was very tasty. Food was authentic and if you&rsquo;re looking for a relaxed but somewhat faster service this would be an excellent place.

I found this little restaurant on Google maps due to the location to the train station where a friend was meeting us.   Our dinner was very good!  I got the Bruschette and my wife got a cheese, walnut and honey appetizer.  Both were excellent.   My second course was a wonderful pasta dish in a parmesan  bowl.  So good!  My wife got a veal chop that was a bit overcooked but that was their only blemish.   Got a traditional Tuscan dessert.  Wine was exceptional.   It can get loud if a group of 6 or more sits, making it difficult to hear conversation but our overall experience was very good!
