Owned by husband and wife team. The experience is great. Small location with plenty of free parking. Very good wine list. We had the Carpaccio di Zucchine and shrimp to start. Both were very good and the shrimp was exceptional. We had the Rosemary salmon and Amatriciana pasta and both were great. Try the Sienna Ferrari Carano wine. Our dessert was Chocolate Creme Brulee and it was very good. Definitely make a reservation.

The environment is good, the service is more timely, that is, the waiter&#39;s accent is heavier, some are not very clear.

At first, there were not many people, but later it was almost full. Who said that foreigners were eating quietly? It was also a very friendly feeling.

We had a great experience and we will be back. My husband had one of the specials of the day ( squab, delicious by the way) and I had the gnocchi, superb!. Don&#39;t expect huge plates, but that is find with us it allowed us to have room for dessert. Nice wine selection.

While vacationing in Fort Lauderdale recently, we happened upon Piccolo. As we were looking at their menu outside, a gentleman, entering the restaurant gave us his unsolicited opinion of the place, and based on that, we gave it a try. And we are very glad we did. The young lady that seated us was most accommodating as to our choice of table. From the moment we sat down, in Piccolo&#39;s extremely comfortable chairs, we were off to a great start. Chairs are a priority with us. The menu, as well as the wine list, was filled with many interesting choices. But even before we selected anything, a warm, home made focaccia showed up at the table. This gave us a preview of the wonderful things to come. We selected the Carpaccio and the Caesar Salad to start. Both were marvelous. For the main course, my wife had the linguini with funghi, which she thoroughly enjoyed and I had the crab encrusted Mahi Mahi which was done to perfection. We drank a Babera D&#39; Alba, a lovely red wine, that went well with everything. For dessert we shared the fresh fruit with zabaglione which was fabulous and a wonderful cup of coffee completed a perfect dining experience. We definitely will be back the next time we vacation in the area. We highly recommend Piccolo for the service and the quality and presentation of the food. And don&#39;t forget the chairs.
