The initial prototype of The Kimbell was the private collection of the wealthy Ft Worth businessman Kay Kimbell and his wife. When Mr. Kimbell passed away in 1964, their private collection was the richest collection of European masters in the American Southwest. Before the museum was built in 1966, the founder Richard Brown said "The goal shall be definitive excellence, not size of collection." (Win by quality, not quantity). Today’s Kimbell Art Museum contains Michelangelo’s first painting and his only painting in America, the Torment of Saint Anthony.

It should be the best art museum in Dallas. It has some masterpieces by world-class masters. The collection is of high value. The exhibits also contain ancient treasures from China. There are also many resting places in the museum, and the outdoor environment is also very comfortable.
The summer in Texas is very hot, and everyone will panic. It's really nice to calm down and visit the art gallery occasionally. The gallery exhibits approximately 350 works of art, including classical artifacts, European masterpieces by artists such as Monet, Picasso and Matisse. Kimbell, the only painting by Michelangelo in the Americas, is exhibited here, so the museum is named after it. It is also open to the public for free all year round.
Surprising private pavilions The United States is a place with many legends, so there are also many private pavilions here. This time I went to the Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth. I heard that it is also a private pavilion. I was shocked when I came to the entrance of the venue. I didn't feel anything special about the building, but the guide told us that it was originally a private villa. Well, what a big house, it really shocked me. Walking in the hall, it feels a bit like coming to an aquarium. The ceiling design of the house is peculiar. There are not many exhibits here, but each one has its own story. One of my favorite works of classic oil paintings here should be the statues at the door. When I first entered the gate, a huge bronze statue that looked a bit like a standing squirrel caught my eye, although the little one had no paws. But that look is pretty pleasing. There is also a bronze statue of a young woman at the door. The young woman rested her chin with her hands, as if lost in thought. Are you thinking about how many people will entertain the food? Thinking of this, I couldn't help but laugh. Look at the young woman so interesting. In addition to these, the oil paintings in the venue can also be called classics. Reminder: Tickets: Around RMB 100. Opening hours: 10 am-5 pm
